A más de un mes de su trágica muerte en Buenos Aires, el funeral del cantante Liam Payne reunió a sus excompañeros de One Direction en un emotivo adiós en la Iglesia de Saint Mary, Amersham.
Finalmente, se llevó a cabo el funeral de Liam Payne, el exintegrante de One Direction, quien falleció el pasado 16 de octubre en Buenos Aires. La ceremonia tuvo lugar en la tranquila localidad de Amersham, al noreste de Londres, en la iglesia de Saint Mary, donde familiares, amigos cercanos y sus excompañeros de banda le dieron el último adiós.
Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik y Louis Tomlinson fueron vistos llegando al lugar, mostrando rostros cargados de emoción mientras acompañaban a la familia de Liam en este difícil momento. La novia de Liam, quien lo había acompañado días antes de su muerte pero regresó a Estados Unidos poco después, también estuvo presente en la ceremonia.
El trágico fallecimiento de Liam ocurrió en Buenos Aires, mientras se encontraba hospedado en el hotel Casa Sur. Según reportes, el cantante de 31 años cayó desde el balcón de su habitación en el tercer piso. Aunque las circunstancias indican que fue un accidente, se ha mencionado que el incidente podría haber sido provocado por un desmayo debido al consumo de sustancias alucinógenas mezcladas con medicamentos.
